Google recaptcha

Our website uses “Google recaptcha” (hereinafter referred to as “recaptcha”). The service provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).

Recaptcha is used to verify whether data input on our websites (for example, in a contact form) is carried out by a human being or by an automated program. To do so, recaptcha analyses the behaviour of the user of the website using different features. This analysis automatically starts as soon as the user of the website accesses the website. recaptcha evaluates various pieces of information (e.g. IP address, time during which the website is used by the user and mouse movements carried out by the user). Our website uses plugins of the YouTube website. The operator of this website is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

We use YouTube in 'YouTube extended data protection mode'. According to YouTube, this mode has the effect that no information about users of this website can be saved before you watch the video. However, the 'YouTube extended data protection mode' does not imperatively prevent data from being transferred to YouTube partners. In fact, YouTube will set up a connection to the Google DoubleClick network no matter if you watch a video or not.

As soon as you start a YouTube video on our website, a connection to the Google servers will be set up. In this process, you tell the YouTube server which of our web pages you have visited during the current session. When you are logged in your YouTube account, you allow YouTube to assign your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile.  You can prevent YouTube from doing so by logging out of your YouTube account

Furthermore, after a video has been started, YouTube can save multiple cookies on your device. With the help of these cookies, YouTube can collect information about users of our website. Amongst other things, this information is employed to record video statistics, to improve user friendliness and to prevent fraud. The cookies remain on your device until you delete them.
